What is your role at Accora?
As an Operations Manager, I find the role extremely rewarding. I enjoy leading a hardworking team and working closely with customers. The job can be fast paced with tight deadlines, but I enjoy the challenge and take pride in making sure customers get what they need as quickly as possible.
How long have you been part of the team?
I have been part of the team for over 2 years now.
What does a typical day look like for you?
No day is the same in Accora -that's what makes it such an interesting and enjoyable company to work for. From arranging deliveries and repairs for our team of delivery drivers and technicians to going out delivering repairing equipment around Ireland myself.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Being able to deliver or repair a piece of equipment that helps someone with their everyday needs.
What’s something people might not expect about your work?
It's a really rewarding role because it involves a lot of face-to-face interaction with customers and has the opportunity to make a positive difference in their day-to-day lives. It can be quite fast paced at times, with tight timescales and changing priorities, but I enjoy the challenge. Working closely with customers and ensuring they receive the support and products they need makes the role particularly satisfying.
What’s one value or mindset that guides how you work?

What’s a moment or achievement at Accora you’re especially proud of?
One of the things I'm most proud of is the opportunity Accora has given me to lead a dedicated and hardworking team. Every day, we focus on making sure our customers get the products and support they need as quickly as possible. Seeing the team's commitment and knowing we're helping improve people's lives makes the work very rewarding.
If you had to describe Accora in one word, what would it be and why ?
Dedicated. Every day I see people across the business working hard to meet customers' needs and deliver the best possible service. Whether it's supporting customers directly or working behind the scenes, there's a strong commitment to making a positive difference in people's lives, and that's what stands out to me about Accora.
When you're not at Accora, how do you like to unwind or spend your free time?
When I'm not at Accora, I like to keep things simple. I enjoy getting out for walks, especially to clear my head and unwind after a busy week. I'm also a big fan of good food and enjoy trying different restaurants and spending time with family and friends over a nice meal and a few drinks. For me, it's all about relaxing, enjoying good company, and recharging so I can come back to work refreshed and ready for the week ahead.
