The original floor-level bed for exceptional fall prevention
- Lowers to a floor-level height of 78 mm (7.8 cm), to help prevent falls and associated injuries
- Raises to 650 mm (65 cm) enabling carers to complete care tasks at an appropriate height
- Increase bed length by 200 mm (20 cm) with our optional bed extension kit
Easy position adjustment to enable independent movement

The handset is flexible enough to be used from either side of the bed. Its safety features include:

These full-length rails with integrated padding are designed to create a safer environment for the service user.
Integrated junior padded side rails
These integrated junior padded side rails come with an easy lock and lower mechanism, making them easy to use. The fabric mesh allows for visibility from within and outside the bed while also meeting the BS EN 50637:2017 standard.
Bed lever
The bed lever securely fixes to either side of the bed frame providing support for bed mobility and transfers.
Lifting pole
The lifting pole is designed to be a safe and convenient solution to assist service users with sitting up or changing position in bed.
High safety mat
The high safety mat is a critical component of any falls management equipment, offering reliable protection for service users who are prone to falling out of bed.
High safety mat with slide sheets
Designed to be used with two of our floor-level beds, this mat creates an extended surface that users can safely roll onto in case of a fall.
High-integrated padded side rails
Suitable for both adults and children, these integrated padded high side rails extend 63 cm above the mattress platform, offering an increased level of safety.
Safety sleeve
The safety sleeve encases the platform mechanism to help protect against risk of entrapment.
Head and footboard bumpers
The padded head and footboard bumpers are specifically designed to enhance the safety of bed users; helping to reduce impact and minimise the risk of injury.
Mattress infill
Designed to fit down both sides of a standard mattress in between the mattress and the side rail, the Mattress Infill consists of a length of foam encapsulated with a PU coated fabric cover.
Bed extension
The bed extension allows for our beds to be extended by 200 mm length to accommodate taller service users.
Mattress extension foam
A 200 mm mattress infill which reduces the risk of entrapment when the bed is extended.
Transport brackets
Transport brackets are specially designed to make it easy to move the FloorBed or CommunityBed from one location to another.
Mattress pump holder
The mattress pump holder easily fits over the end of the bed to hold the pump of an alternating air mattress.
