Combining the lifting height of a conventional profiling bed (800 mm) and the lowness of a conventional low bed (220 mm), CommunityBed allows equipment services to simplify their range and reduce stock.
The low nursing bed designed for the community

- Raises to a nursing height of 800 mm (80 cm) offering a safer working height for caregivers
- Increase bed length by 200 mm (20 cm) with our optional bed extension kit
- Compatible with our JuniorKit, a suite of combined accessories designed to meet the children’s bed standard BS EN 50637:2017

- Trendelenburg is achievable with an optional handset
The handset is flexible enough to be used from either side of the bed and has a lockout feature to prevent unintentional use.

Fabric side rails
These full-length rails with integrated padding are designed to create a safer environment for the service user.
Integrated junior padded side rails
These integrated junior padded side rails come with an easy lock and lower mechanism, making them easy to use. The fabric mesh allows for visibility from within and outside the bed while also meeting the BS EN 50637:2017 standard.

Mattress infill
Designed to fit down both sides of a standard mattress in between the mattress and the side rail, the Mattress Infill consists of a length of foam encapsulated with a PU coated fabric cover.
Bed extension kit
Designed with safety and comfort in mind, this bed extension kit provides an additional 200 mm (20 cm) in bed length.

FloorBed 1 Plus
For larger clients who need more room, the FloorBed 1 Plus has a width of 1050 mm (105 cm), and can be extended to a length of 2134 mm (213.4 cm).
With a floor-level height of 78 mm (7.8 cm), it delivers all the benefits of FloorBed 1.
