This mattress has a base layer of high-density foam for support, with a top layer of soft, pressure-reducing visco foam. It also features a firm edge which offers more support for transfers.
Designed for additional support when side rails are used
The firm edge incorporated into this mattress provides enhanced support for transfers and assists service users in orienting themselves within the bed. Additionally, it minimises the gaps between the mattress and the head and footboard, reducing the risk of entrapment.
To further prioritise comfort, the mattress cover is constructed from four-way stretch, vapour-permeable fabric.
