The Allevia Duo Cushion is a hybrid seating cushion that can be used in various configurations to achieve the pressure relief that is required for the service user. The cushion can be used with a pump, static valve and on its own.
A versatile cushion for all risk levels
The Allevia Duo hybrid cushion offers three configurations for tailored pressure relief:
- With pump: Alternating surface for higher-risk service users.
- Without pump: Static air cushion with inflated valve cap.
- Standard foam: No pump or valve cap.
Key features:
- 4-way stretch, vapour-permeable cover.
- 8 cells with foam for stability and pressure relief.
- 1.2 m hose connects the cushion to the pump.
The Allevia Duo Cushion not only offers versatile configurations but can also be used as a standalone cushion, providing comfort and pressure relief in any compatible chair.

Depth-adjustment kit
The depth-adjustment kit reduces the seat depth by 2 inches, accommodating service users who need a shallower seat.

Multi-adjustable Pillow Backrest
The Multi-adjustable Pillow Backrest is the standard backrest for the Configura chairs. Each pillow is height adjustable, and the filling can be customised to the user.
Cocoon backrest
Offering additional comfort and support, the Cocoon backrest can be adjusted by changing the position or amount of stuffing in any of its 9 cells.
Lateral-support wedges
The lateral-support wedges fit underneath the backrest pillows to provide mild posture encouragement.
Profiled headrest
The profiled headrest offers increased support for the service user’s head and neck.
Quarter depth-adjustment kit
The quarter depth-adjustment kit can be used on the backrest of the chair or under the seat cushion for postural correction or management.
Channel legrest
The channel legrest reduces the likelihood of the legs moving away from the body's midline by providing side support on the legrest.
Postural Backrest
Our most highly customisable backrest to help meet specific postural and comfort needs.
External Lateral Supports
The external lateral supports fit both the standard and postural backrests giving increased posture management.
Drop-down armrest
Drop-down armrests can be fitted on either the left or right-hand side of compatible chairs, to facilitate the use of slings and making access easier.
