Suitable for high to very high-risk service users, this mattress uses a dynamic mattress system with alternating cells for pressure relief. The cells are 18 cm deep to provide deep immersion, and the heel slope is created by lower heel cells.
The alternating cell mattress with smart sense capabilities
The Allevia Sense pressure mattress uses a dynamic system with alternating cells designed specifically for pressure relief. The cells themselves have a depth of 18 cm, providing deep immersion for optimal support. To address heel pressure, the mattress utilises lower heel cells to create a heel slope. Additionally, individual cells can be further adjusted to relieve pressure in specific areas as needed.
The auto sense pump of this mattress is equipped with automatic weight monitors, eliminating the need for manual weight input. However, there is also a manual override option available to adjust for service user comfort, along with the option of constant low-pressure therapy.
This mattress also features an ultra rapid CPR valve enabling swift deflation in emergency situations.
