Comfort 2: the next generation of comfort and postural support
In this webinar we will introduce the Configura Comfort 2, exploring how it builds on the trusted legacy of the original Comfort with advanced adjustability and user-focused innovation.
We will provide an overview of key features, including tilt-in-space, backrest recline, and rise functions, as well as it's integrated pressure care and posture management options.
The session will examine how these features work together to support safe transfers, promote healthy posture, protect skin integrity, and maintain user comfort, stability, and independence throughout the day.

Environments and the impact on clinical communication with Elana Moore
Environments are never neutral- they actively shape how people feel, behave and function. Wherever you live or work, sensory factors such as noise, lighting, layout and overall sensory load influence out ability to regulate, our attention and the ability to engage with others.
This session explores how sensory environments can either support or hinder everyday functioning in care settings. Drawing on sensory science and clinical insight, it will highlight how sensory awareness and small environmental changes can have a significant impact on wellbeing, clinical interactions and outcomes.
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to recognise sensory barriers and make practical, realistic adjustments to create environments that better support both staff and those they work with.
OT Week: 24 hour postural care
With RCOT’s OT week this year focusing on ‘prevention and early intervention’, this webinar will look closely at identifying the risks for individuals if their posture starts to change. We will discover how early intervention can help support and maximise our patient's independence and function, and in-turn greatly reduce risks of secondary health complications.
Pressure ulcers - definition, assessment, prevention
Pressure ulcers are a painful, debilitating condition that can, largely, be prevented. Seen as a measure of harm by NHS England/Improvement and reportable to the CQC in care home settings, understanding how best to protect those within your care from developing a pressure ulcer is an important aspect of care delivery.
