Kay James has been practicing as an Occupational therapist for the last 30 years. She started her Moving & Handling career at King’s College Hospital 26 years ago. Currently, Kay is the Director of OT4Independence Ltd based in Kent providing an Independent Occupational Therapy Service and Moving & Handling Training. She works with therapists from Health and Social Care to implement single carer handling to maximise an individual’s independence, dignity and quality of life.
