The accessory kit that makes Accora beds suitable for smaller service users.

Suitable for use with FloorBed 1, FloorBed 2 and CommunityBed, the JuniorKit is a suite of combined accessories that provide a complete solution to meet the latest children’s bed standard BS EN 50637:2017.

The JuniorKit includes:

  • Padded head and footboard bumpers help reduce impact and minimise the risk of injury
  • It has a built-in, lockable pocket for storing the handset to prevent tampering
  • A safety sleeve encases the platform mechanism to help protect against the risk of entrapment
  • Protection plates are also included in the JuinorKit for the FloorBed 2

These easy-to-fit accessories help transform an adult medical bed into a safe sleeping space for younger people and small adults.

These integrated junior padded side rails come with an easy lock and lower mechanism, making them easy to use. The fabric mesh allows for visibility from within and outside the bed while also meeting the BS EN 50637:2017 standard.

For larger clients who need more room, the FloorBed 1 Plus has a width of 1050 mm (105 cm), and can be extended to a length of 2134 mm (213.4 cm).

With a floor-level height of 78 mm (7.8 cm), it delivers all the benefits of FloorBed 1.
