Configura® Bariatric
The Configura Bariatric is a dual-motor chair suited to larger service users. It offers an increased weight capacity, with a tilt-in-space option for up to 40 stone and a non-tilt-in-space version for up to 50 stone.

Compatible accessories
Multi-adjustable Pillow Backrest
The Multi-adjustable Pillow Backrest is the standard backrest for the Configura chairs. Each pillow is height adjustable, and the filling can be customised to the user.
Quarter depth-adjustment kit
The quarter depth-adjustment kit can be used on the backrest of the chair or under the seat cushion for postural correction or management.
Profiled headrest
The profiled headrest offers increased support for the service user’s head and neck.
Lateral-support wedges
The lateral-support wedges fit underneath the backrest pillows to provide mild posture encouragement.
Height-adjustment kit
Height-adjustment kits are available to increase the seat height to achieve a better size of chair for the service user. These adjustment sizes are dependent on the model of chair - please find further detail in the measurements and specifications drop down menu.
Allevia® Cushionair
Cushionair is a dynamic pressure-relieving cushion which is recommended for service users who have developed pressure damage.
Depth-adjustment kit
The depth-adjustment kit reduces the seat depth by 2 inches, accommodating service users who need a shallower seat.
Channel legrest
The channel legrest reduces the likelihood of the legs moving away from the body's midline by providing side support on the legrest.
Allevia Visco Cushion
The Allevia Visco cushion is a static, pressure-reducing cushion for clients who are at risk of developing pressure damage but whose skin is intact.

If a client’s needs change over time, Configura chairs can be easily adjusted to suit.

All contact areas can be removed for cleaning or replacement. The chair can then be re-configured for another person.
