Philippa qualified as a nurse in 1997 and quickly developed a passion for tissue viability while working in a hospital setting. Over the years she expanded her expertise through further education and clinical experience, leading to her first specialist Tissue Viability role in 2010. In this position she supported a nurse-led wound service and delivered education to healthcare staff on pressure ulcer prevention, wound management and best practice in patient care.

More recently, Philippa has worked as a Tissue Viability Nurse within community services, broadening her clinical perspective and strengthening her commitment to preventative care. By joining Accora, she is excited to champion the vital role of prevention in pressure ulcer management and support improved outcomes for patients.

Nicola Murphy is a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist with experience within the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. Her experience spans across many specialities including oncology, surgery/ vascular, wheelchairs services, and elderly care.

Nicky is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with over 16 years of experience, specializing in disability, posture, and seating. She has worked in both inpatient and community settings, and most recently served as a seating therapist within the HSE.

Sarah has always had a keen interest in Tissue Viability since becoming a registered nurse in 2002. Her experience varies from within a community setting, where she completed her Tissue Viability based degree in 2007. She then worked within the private sector to gain additional advanced wound care skills whilst working with a medical devices company specialised in wound healing. In 2010, Sarah became a Tissue Viability Nurse and shaped a specialised service within the acute sector for 7 years before returning to the community setting as a TVN.

Mary has been working as an Occupational Therapist since 2006, initially in community rehabilitation services, then spending much of her time working in community services in Oxfordshire. Within this role she has held a special interest and lead role for postural assessments and equipment provision and is passionate to continue developing her knowledge and skills in 24 hr postural management.

Jayne qualified as an OT in 1996 and has a wide range of clinical experience in acute and community settings. Her recent experience has been in Community Equipment Stores providing training and support to prescribers and commissioners.

Heidi has been a Tissue Viability Nurse since 2002. Her interest and passion in the prevention and management of pressure ulcers began, however, in 1987 on registering as a nurse. She has worked in both acute and community care.

Jenny is a senior occupational therapist. She qualified in 1997 and completed her MSc in Neuro-rehabilitation in 2007. She has worked in Neurological Rehabilitation at the Battle Hospital in Reading, and the Rivermead Rehabilitation Centre in Oxford which became part of the Oxford Centre for Enablement in 2000. She moved into the Specialist Disability Service at the OCE from where she joined the Oxford MND Centre in January 2007.

Since August 2009 Jenny has been funded full-time by the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association to develop NHS wheelchair services across the UK, to improve wheelchair provision for people living with MND.
