Bio
Nicola Murphy is an Occupational Therapist with over 10 years’ experience across acute, specialist, and care settings. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Social Care from Munster Technological University, Ireland, in 2016, before completing an MSc in Occupational Therapy at Brunel University London in 2020.
Nicola currently works with Accora, specialising in seating and 24-hour postural care. In this role, she supports clinicians and services to improve patients’ comfort, function, and overall quality of life through education and training.
She has broad clinical experience across acute and community settings, including frailty, respiratory care, oncology, amputee rehabilitation, orthopaedics, and wheelchair services. She recently completed the Posture Management for Adults and Children with Complex Disabilities course in Oxford in July 2026, further strengthening her knowledge and skills in postural care and rehabilitation.
Nicola is passionate about practical, person-centred care that makes a real difference day to day, as well as supporting others through joint working, education, training, and shared learning.
