Bio
Louise Pearson is an Occupational Therapist with a broad and varied professional background across health, social care, equipment services, housing, falls prevention and occupational health. Since qualifying as an Occupational Therapist, Louise has worked extensively in social care, with a focus on housing, equipment and adaptations. Her experience includes supporting individuals to maintain independence through appropriate equipment, environmental changes and safe, practical solutions within the home.
Louise has also held management roles within social care, supporting teams of Occupational Therapists and Social Workers. She has worked within equipment stores, approving special order requests, facilitating training and auditing stock levels to support effective service delivery.
Her wider clinical experience includes falls prevention, with a specialism in reducing falls in care homes, as well as occupational health. In this role, she has completed Capacity for Work Assessments for individuals experiencing physical, mental health and neurodivergence-related challenges, including desk-based assessments and identifying postural needs in the workplace.
