When it comes to choosing the right chair for a service user, there are several factors to consider to ensure clinical outcomes are met. Accora have a range of chairs to promote independence and this session will provide an overview to assist in choosing the appropriate chair for your service users needs in relation to size, pressure and postural issues.

In this 45min webinar we will examine the aetiology andpathology involved with motor neurone disease. We will look at different types of presentations and how these differ in terms of physical presentation and prognosis. We will explore how MND is diagnosed and what treatment options there are currently. In addition, we will start to explore common symptoms which will require intervention to help manage to improve quality of life and extend life expectancy in people who are living with MND.
Cellulitis – what is and isn’t cellulitis and what to do about it
Cellulitis is an infection of the skin that can occur anywhere on the body. It most commonly occurs on the lower limb. It is often misdiagnosed leading to unnecessary admissions and treatment. In this session we will cover what cellulitis is, how to recognise it, how to identify skin conditions often misdiagnosed as cellulitis and how to manage it.
