2008
Accora was founded as a family business by four brothers - Tim, Samuel, Nicholas and Laurie.
2013
Introduced the original FloorBed® 1 that was two years in the making and an industry first - it functions like a full electric bed and actually goes to floor level.
2020
Configura® Advance was created - a fully adjustable chair that is unique to Accora and is revolutionary in its design - enabling complete customisation for the user.
2020
Accora provided beds for the Nightingale hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic by request from the Department of Health. The prototype was developed within 24 hours and only took 10 days for manufacturing.
2021
Empresa was designed with the all new double BodyMove™ technology - it shifts the pivot point back, reducing patient shear and increasing resident comfort.

Accora brings FloorBed and BodyMove technology to acute care with the Proxima; the lowest acute care bed.
